This company put much attention on employee engagement and fulfilment at work. After rapid growth and a very busy period there were concerns that this attention was being undermined. The CEO wanted to enhance and protect a great workplace culture during the next 2 year period.

 

What we did

  • Designed and delivered a Constructive Leadership Culture workshop: a bespoke 2 day workshop for all people managers in the business.
  • Worked with the business to construct a 360 degree feedback to inform the leadership development topics. A repeat 360 degree feedback in planned after 6 months to evaluate progress.
  • Used a tailored version of our Leadership Styles Questionnaire to provide insights for the managers.

 

Outcomes
A lot of fun was had by all during these sessions which was in line with the core value of the organisation. The main outcomes included:

 

  • A consensus on the culture the team wanted to create.
  • Afocus on sharing a common language.
  • An understanding of how culture develops individual contributions.
  • Enhanced teamwork and commitment amongst the workshop group.
  • Establishment of productive personal relationships.
  • Many felt able for the first time to be totally honest with each other.
  • Development of 3 core leadership skills: feedback, listening and questioning.
  • Understanding & development of a coaching style of leadership to sustain a positive workplace.
